Carol Service

Feeling christmassy?

This Tuesday 6th December the Christian Union will be hosting a Carol Service in town at St Thomas Church. There will be carols led by the brass band and the gospel choir, a message about what Christians believe this time of year is all about, a chance to hear about what’s coming up next term and after the service is over we will be serving cake and hot drinks! Text 4 a Toastie!

We are running a Text 4 a Toastie on Monday 14th November (Week 6). Text your question on Christianity and the flavour of toastie you would like, along with your block and flat number to the numbers below. Someone from the Christian Union will bring you your toastie and do their best to answer your question.

Making Sense of Our World

In week 4 we are beginning a new series of Lunchbar talks entitled ‘Making Sense of Our World’.This series will run for two weeks and the topic titles are as follows:

Week 4 (Thursday 3rd November) – ‘Making Senseof Life’ – in Fylde Common Room
Week 5 (Thursday 10th November) – ‘Making Sense of Death‘ – in Fylde Common Room

Lunchbar will take place on the Thursday of both weeks and runs from 1pm- 1.50pm. Everyone is welcome!

Acoustic Night – 12th October

The talented guitarist Lewis Green will be performing this Wednesday at Lancaster University. Lewis will be playing some of his own music and will also be sharing with us the meaning of his songs. All are welcome. We look forward to seeing you there!
